The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association joins Antigua and Barbuda in congratulating the Antigua and Barbuda Cycling Association on receiving the awards for the top female athlete of the year Tamiko Butler and the top male athlete of the year Robert Marsh.
Tamiko and Robert gained the nods from the Sports Awards Committee as their 2011 sporting curriculum best demonstrated their supreme athletic performance and achievement in the physical sports category.
Cycling under the leadership of President Cliff Williams and his very supportive team has dedicated a lot of time, energy and resources to the development of the sport. Cycling is presently one of the more structured and fastest growing sports on the island.
We take this opportunity to congratulate all the athletes, coaches and sport administrators, on their accomplishments during 2011.
